OPPORTUNITY

The project manager will ensure a good implementation of the project, the Project Manager: Will oversee all activities of the project and all Project’s implementation is following the strategic plan, objectives, outcomes and targets, which is the contractual & programmatic basis. He /Her that the Project Cycle Management is on track in line with expected expenditure and work plane and that the project activities are following minimum quality standards related to project interventions;Ensure that programmatic and financial progress reporting is done on time;and that donor communications are done in line with the Plan International Cameroon internal regulations. The Project Manager will be responsible for the management of all project activities, under the implementation of the Health Specialist and the Livelihood Specialist. The incumbent, with the support of the Monitoring & Evaluation Coordinator, will ensure the proper implementation of the project’s monitoring and evaluation system and the management of protection data. While managing the project, he/she will ensure that implementation is on schedule and within budget. The incumbent will also interface with and support the project team members.

INDIVIDUAL

As a project manager, you must hold a master’s degree in public health, social sciences, rural economics, rural development, project/program management, international development or similar fields; Have certifications in monitoring and evaluation, impact assessment, health systems strengthening or livelihoods, and Certification in communication and advocacy will be an added advantage;Have at least 5 years’ experience in the design and planning of health and/or livelihoods projects, as well as in the management and implementation of this type of project, with a thorough knowledge of project planning, programming and monitoring/evaluation procedures; He/she must have experience in implementing integrated projects with several components, including health and livelihoods, and skills in statistical data analysis, evaluation, monitoring and project assessment; skills in statistical data analysis, evaluations, social impact studies or similar. Be fluently bilingual (written and spoken) and have experience working in the East region of Cameroon; as well as knowledge of SRHR, Plan International policies, community mobilization, gender, GBV, livelihoods and health would be an added advantage; statistical data analysis, evaluation, monitoring and project assessment; skills in statistical data analysis, evaluations, social impact studies or similar. Be fluently bilingual (written and spoken) and have experience working in the East Cameroon region. Knowledge of SRHR, Plan International policies, community mobilization, gender, GBV, livelihoods and health would be an added advantage;
