Banque Atlantique is recruiting 01 Collection Assistant
MAIN MISSION
Collect debts due from the bank from defaulting customers in compliance with the rules in force
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bac+3 in Banking and Finance, Business Law, Criminal Law, or any related field
- Minimum of three (03) years of experience in a similar position
- Bilingualism (French-English) would be an asset
MAIN ACTIVITIES
Customer account management

- Identify and maintain debtor files (contact, address changes, etc.)
- Monitor doubtful off-balance sheet commitments and carry out related actions (telephone calls, notice of delay, reminder letters, etc.)
- Compile overdue accounts reports and report defaulted payments to credit reporting agencies
Participation in litigation actions

- Consolidate late payments into a customer file
- Investigate and resolve complaints regarding failed debt collection attempts
- Negotiate moratoriums / protocols with the client
- Transmit invitations to the contradictory closure of the account balance and legal account closure
- Prepare case transfer memos to Litigation
- Continuously collaborate with external partners (bailiff, lawyer, expert, detective, etc.) with a view to compiling litigation files

- Mastery of negotiation techniques applied to recovery
